Car giants interested in SAAB

According to different media sources, BMW and Volvo are now interested in Saab.

According to P4 West, Volvo Cars is interested in buying large portions of the estate and move the equipment to the factory in Torslanda.

According to sources, Volvo Cars have made a bid for a large part of Saab P4 West reports.

According to one source, Volvo is not interested in the factory building in Trollhättan, but only the content.

P4 West has tried to get a comment from Volvo’s press office, but without success.

The German player
However, The Swedish Wire also reports that German car giant BMW is interested in Saab.

Six or seven serious bidders have been confirmed and among them is a European car-manufacturer, according to several sources in different media.

"We have gotten very strong indications from several independent sources that this European company is German and located in Munich. This company has the intention [...] to build Saabs and their own cars on the same platform", the Swedish Wire reports quoting the blog Saab United.
