Production problems at SSAB

- By Charlotte Stubben

On Friday, a fire broke out at SSAB, which is causing production problems.

A truck tore down a gas pipeline and a power line. The fire was under control when the emergency services arrived on the scene, Metal Supply Sweden reports.

The demolished cables are affecting the mill, which is without electricity and therefore cannot be used.

SSAB has launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.

"We are reviewing all options to get started as soon as possible", says Johan Wiig site manager at SSAB Oxelösund to P4 Nyheter.
