Alfa Laval wins order worth SEK 50 million

Alfa Laval has won an order to supply fresh water generators to an oil platform in the North Sea.

The order is worth approximately SEK 50 million.

The Alfa Laval fresh water generators will convert seawater into potable water, for consumption onboard an oil platform in the Norwegian part of the North Sea.

“On an oil platform it is essential to maximize uptime and use equipment as efficient and compact as possible. This order confirms our ability to meet these high demands from the oil and gas industry”, says Lars Renström, President and CEO of the Alfa Laval Group.

Delivery is scheduled for 2012.
