Introducing new products
Biomass helps to reduce the global human environmental footprint by recycling waste into energy. ArcelorMittal’s technical teams are supporting engineers in the design of structural elements, construction details, surface protection, fire safety, metallurgy and welding processes.

Thanks to this collaboration, the group has introduced new products such as steel grades from the Differdange site in Luxembourg. Histar® steels combine high yield strength with excellent toughness at low temperatures, offering outstanding weldability properties.
A brand new product range
The product line "Nspired by Nature" is also introduced at Hannover Messe. "Nature" is a brand new product range of organic coated products that really do care for the environment. It is the result of more than 15 years of successful research and testing, and is always delivered with coatings and surface treatments free of hexavalent chromium and heavy metals (lead or hexavalent chromium complex).
